Northernlight Insurance Company Inc. has recently completed a negotiation with Kensington USA Reinsurance Corp, to act as an MGU for Latin America and the Caribbean across all classes of business that Northernlight Insurance Company writes.
We are excited with the tie up with Kensington USA Reinsurance Corp. and its CEO Jose Martinez-Malo. Both companies have had a long history of working together on risks throughout the region and the completion of an MGU agreement is a culmination of that work. Northernlight Insurance Company will be processing all risks originating through this region through its MGU agreement with Kensington USA Reinsurance Corp.
Northernlight Insurance Company has recently completed a rating process with Pacific Credit Rating for several countries in Latin America and the Caribbean achieving an AA rating with a stable outlook. Through the agreements with Kensington USA Reinsurance Corp, they will be leading the efforts in getting Northernlight Insurance Company admitted as a reinsurer in key markets.
